The annual celebration of the Feast of St Benedict was held in the Solarium of Fountains Abbey.  The mass was celebrated by Very Rev. Canon Timothy Swinglehurst Episcopal Vicar for Education con-celebrated by Fr Angelo Philips, Fr Neil Byrne, Fr Michael Ingwell and Fr Michael Walsh.  With A congregation of over 500 from many parts of the Diocese of Leeds.

Fountains Abbey is one of the largest and best preserved ruined Cistercian monasteries in England. It is located approximately 3 miles south-west of Ripon in North Yorkshire, near to the village of Aldfield.

The Liturgy was enhanced by the choir of St John Fisher Catholic High School Junior Choir and Nigel Beetles.
