Easter Vigil began at the back of Leeds Cathedral where Bishop Marcus blesses the Easter Light and ignites the paschal candle that will then light candles for the rest of the congregation.
The Blessing of the Water: Bishop Marcus dips the paschal candle into the baptismal font to bless the water.
Followed by the baptism of twenty six adults.
