Rite of Election 2024 was held at the Cathedral Church of St Anne, Leeds on the First Sunday of Lent, the 18th of February 2024.
The Rite of Election and the Call to Continuing Conversion is a significant occasion in the life of the local Church. The service, which was held at Leeds Cathedral on the First Sunday of Lent, 26 February, marks a decisive step in the faith journey of people from across the diocese, who have been preparing over many months for the Sacraments of Initiation – Baptism, Holy Communion and Confirmation – which they will receive at the Easter Vigil.
